What types of shows does The Upfront Theatre produce? We focus on original, community-driven, and improv-based theatre that brings laughter, creativity, and connection to our audiences.

How can I buy tickets? Tickets are available online through our website’s ticketing page or at the venue box office. The box office opens 30 minutes before showtime.

Does The Upfront Theatre offer classes or workshops? Yes! We offer a variety of classes and workshops taught by our Upfront instructors and guest artists. Check our Classes page for current offerings.

How can I audition for a show? Auditions are announced via our newsletter and social media. Subscribe and follow to stay updated

Doors Open / Box Office Hours? House doors open 30 minutes prior to showtime. See your ticket confirmation for details. The box office is open 30 minutes prior to showtime.

Are your shows and classes suitable for all ages? Most of our shows are intended for general audiences, but some performances may include mature content or language. Age recommendations are listed on individual event pages. Our monthly drop-in class is all-ages. Our other classes are typically designed for adults (18+), though we do occasionally offer youth workshops — check our Classes page for current offerings.

Do you have concessions? Yes! We offer a range of candy and packaged snacks as well as non alcoholic and alcoholic beverage options. Menu items are rotated throughout the year, so ask our bartenders what they recommend! Please note that outside food and beverages are not permitted. Thank you!

Is The Upfront Theatre a nonprofit? Yes, we are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering community through theatre.

ADA Accessibility? Yes! We are happy to accommodate accessibility needs. For mobility access, impaired vision, or hearing-access accommodations, please purchase your tickets and then email your confirmation details to info@theupfront.com so we can assist you.

Do young children need tickets? For performances intended for general audiences, children under 2 years old (under 24 months) may attend free of charge when seated on an adult’s lap, with a limit of one child per lap. No separate ticket is required. Children 2 years and older must have a ticket. This policy does not apply to age-restricted performances, including shows designated 18+ or 21+.

Where is The Upfront Theatre located? We are based in Bellingham, WA. While some events may take place at other locations, most of our shows are held at our home theatre: 203 Prospect Street, Bellingham, WA 98225. Need help finding us? View entrance map.

How do I redeem coupon codes? Coupon codes are valid for Standard shows only. Special events and third-party produced shows will be clearly noted in the show description and are not eligible for coupon codes, vouchers, complimentary tickets, or student tickets. Valid coupon codes can be redeemed during online checkout by selecting “Add Coupon Code” and entering your code. Please refer to your coupon code email or voucher for expiration details. Gift Cards? Yes! The Upfront Theatre offers e-gift cards, making it easy to give the gift of laughter. Gift cards are available digitally only, so no physical gift cards are offered.
