Karianne Nelson-Brannan

Hi I'm Karianne! My favorite thing about doing improv is collaborating in the moment and being present with the people on stage with me. In 2011 I was fortunate enough to be able to attend a 4 week intensive in improv and comedy writing at Second City in Chicago. I learned how important it is to trust your fellow improvisors, to make strong emotional choices, and to just play together there. I do a lot of scripted theater and doing improv has definitely made my scripted work more present and playful. When I'm not doing improv or plays, I enjoy watching trashy reality shows, playing games with friends, and hiking in nature.
