Service Description

In times of high stress, it can be easy to stay in fight or flight for long stretches of time. Playful embodiment exercises have been scientifically proven to move us out of that space and into rest and digest. During our time together, I’m going to invite you to play some games and exercises with me and with each other that will be not only fun, but that you can put in your well-being tool kit to take with you as you live your life at work, with your families and friends, and out and about in the world. Absolutely no theatre or improv experience required, just bring yourself! Class: Sunday, August 9, 2026, 1:00PM - 3:00PM Instructor: Sara Carmer McMahon Prerequisites: None Note: Must be 18 or older to attend this class. ABOUT THE FACILITATOR: Sara Carmer McMahon is a graduate of The American Musical and Dramatic Academy, NYC, and a company member and teacher at Unexpected Productions, Seattle. Sara teaches others how to enhance listening skills, playfulness, empathy, connectedness, and liberation from fear of failure. Sara has created and illustrated The Playdate Deck, a 65-card deck of Two-Person improv-based games designed to increase connection, playfulness, and relationship resilience. More information about her artwork and improv facilitation can be found at www.saradelighted.com. @saradelighted.
