Service Description
In this level 3 foundation class, students will gain a complete understanding of how a scene works, discovering and practicing all the details that come together to make our scenes great. We will focus on character driven scenes that hone in on specific skills such as character development and dynamics, object work, scene starts, stage presence, and playfulness. Students will study concepts like the rhythm of a scene, the arc of a scene, and being in the moment. This class will culminate in a showcase performance. Class: Sundays, starts Jan 11 , 4 - 6pm , 8-weeks. All 8 classes included in the booking. Showcase: Saturday, March 7, 5:50 - 6:50PM Instructor: Jesse Markus Prerequisites: Completion of Level 2. Note: Must be 18 or older to attend this class. ***REMINDER*** If selecting a payment plan, a second step is required. 1) Pay for payment plan 2) Enroll in class. About the Instructor Jesse discovered improv in early 2008 and swiftly fell in love with the art form. He has since performed and taught at various festivals and theaters across the Western United States and Canada. He is a founding board member of the widely-lauded Wasatch Improv Festival, as well as half of the award-winning improv duo "Murder Fairy & Arson Leprechaun" (Audience Choice, Downtown Las Vegas Improv Festival). He hopes to use both his experience and passion for improv to inspire others to pursue this wonderful craft!
