Service Description
Great for anyone interested in improvisation, this class will provide the foundational tools to become a great improviser and an awesome human being! This class will cover basic improv concepts like "Yes, and," thinking quickly, taking risks, failing joyfully, listening, and being in the moment, that will enhance day to day life on and off the stage. Students will have tons of fun creating together in a supportive environment, as they become better collaborators and communicators. This class is guaranteed to inspire creativity and spontaneous creation. Learn to see the world through the lens of improvisation! This class will culminate in a showcase performance. Class: Thursdays, March 26 - May 14 , 5 - 7PM 8-Weeks Included: 3/26, 4/2, 4/9, 4/16, 4/23, 4/30, 5/7, 5/14 Showcase: Thursday, May 21, 7:30PM Instructor: Chel Prerequisites: None. Note: Must be 18 or older to attend this class. ***REMINDER*** If selecting a payment plan, a second step is required. 1) Pay for payment plan 2) Enroll in class. About the Instructor Chel has been performing with the Upfront Theatre for four years. They enjoy improv for the opportunity to play and make believe with friends, and keeping silliness present in their everyday life. When not at the Upfront, Chel can be found around town creating art as a local woodburning artist.
