Foundations & Forward
Service Description
This dynamic class is designed to meet you exactly where you are — whether you're brand new to improvisation (Level 1 – Intro) or ready to deepen your skills (Level 2 – Intermediate). No matter your starting point, you’ll gain the tools, confidence, and experience needed to advance to the next level. Level 1 students will explore the core foundations of improv, including “Yes, and,” thinking quickly, taking creative risks, failing joyfully, listening actively, and being fully present in the moment. In a supportive and playful environment, students will strengthen communication, collaboration, and confidence on and off the stage. Level 2 students will expand on those fundamentals with a deeper focus on scene work, storytelling, character development, physicality, and stage presence. Through guided exercises and performance-based practice, students will develop a stronger understanding of what makes a scene engaging, cohesive, and fun to watch. This class fosters creativity, spontaneity, and bold collaboration and will culminate in a showcase performance.
