About the Instructor: Born and raised in Anacortes, Jackson was about nine years old when his parents let him in on the family secret that he was named after a Robin Williams character (The Best of Times). Ever since that moment – Jackson has dedicated his life to getting older. Jackson has his parents Dick and Gabby to thank for his desire to accrue stories and be funny. He also has his sister to thank for having any taste at all. Seriously if it wasn't for her, his favorite band would still be Aerosmith. Jackson spent his lock down days working 60 hours a week at the USPS and gave a lot of thought to how he would want to spend his time once the world opened back up. After a failed NBA comeback he spent the next couple years as a persistent albeit green student in the Upfront School of Improv and found a place that he didn’t want to leave. Jackson continues performing because he knows how heavy life can be and wants to provide the audience with a place to forget about life for a while.
