If improv is the brain, clown is the heart. Come get into your body and out of your mind with this exploration of play led by internationally award-winning clown, Karen Hall. Improve your timing, include the audience, and practice connection. Class: Sundays 1 - 4:30PM 2-Weeks Included: 6/7 & 6/14 Instructor: Karen Hall Prerequisites: None. All-levels welcome. Note: Must be 18 or older to attend this class. ARTIST BIO: Karen Hall is an internationally award winning performer and creator. Her solo show, Delusions and Grandeur, a solo cello recital meets a clown show in the world of the jester, has performed to audience and critical acclaim. Winning a 2025 Outstanding Theatre Award at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and a Best Solo Performance in Los Angeles Theatre 2025, her quick wit and genre-blurring production continues to tour and impress. As a cellist, Karen has graced the stages of Carnegie Hall and the Hollywood Bowl and been found in studios for Emmy-winning television scores. Most notably, Karen spent four seasons as the Cellist on the TV show, Glee. She works as a Teaching Artist in Residency for both the prestigious Music Center Los Angeles and Segerstrom Center for the Arts and as a multi-instrumental educator with Youth Orchestra Los Angeles, the flagship youth orchestra of the LA Philharmonic.
