Class: Stage Ready, Level 4+ Dates: Wednesdays, April 24- June 12 Time: 6- 8pm Showcase: Thursday, June 13 at 7:30pm Instructor: Seth Thomson Prerequisites: Completion of "Solid Scenes, Level 3" or higher level Upfront class. Note: Must be 18 or older to attend this class. Bring all your stage skills together in this actively coached class! With heavy focus on scene work, you will explore solo to multiplayer scenes, practicing performance games and long form styles. Learn to make more durable choices, while maintaining active discovery, connection, and playfulness. This class will touch on many aspects of performance including hosting and teching. With side coaching, direct feedback and guidance throughout, you are bound to boost your stage confidence through skill building and full understanding scene work. This class includes two performance sets at the GBU on May 9th & May 23rd. This class will also culminate in a showcase performance at the end of the session (3 total performance opportunities), on Thursday June 13 at 7:30pm, as a part of the G.B.U. About the instructor: Seth Thomson is a writer, actor and comic who is inspired to share improv's limitless magic. He has been working and performing at The Upfront since 2016, producing shows, teaching and leading our student practice jam. Seth is passionate about guiding others to unlock their inherent powers of intuition and transformation through play.
