Class: Thursdays, 5:30 - 7pm, June 22- August 10 (8 weeks) Showcase: Sat. August 12, 5- 6pm Instructor: Brian Grote and David Westerlund Prerequisites: None! Note: Must be 18 or older to attend this class. This class will cover basic improv concepts like "Yes, and," thinking quickly, taking risks, failing joyfully, listening, and being in the moment, that will enhance day to day life on and off the stage. Students will have tons fun creating together in a supportive environment, as they become better collaborators and communicators. Guaranteed to inspire creativity and spontaneous creation. Learn to see the world through the lens of improvisation! This class will culminate in a student showcase on Saturday August 12th. About the instructor: Brian Grote has been performing at the Upfront since 2018. He has been amazed by the transformation improv has created in his own life and wants to share his knowledge and love for improvising with others, so they can unlock the enchantment and whimsy of this craft.
