Service Description

Class: Saturdays, 4:30 - 6pm, Jan. 14 - March 4 (8 weeks) Showcase: Thursday, March 2nd at 7:30pm Instructor: Seth Thomson Prerequisites: None! Note: Must be 18 or older to attend this class. This class will cover basic improv concepts like "Yes, and," thinking quickly, taking risks, failing joyfully, listening, and being in the moment, that will enhance day to day life on and off the stage. Students will have tons fun creating together in a supportive environment, as they become better collaborators and communicators. This class is guaranteed to inspire creativity and spontaneous creation. Learn to see the world through the lens of improvisation! This class will culminate in a showcase on Thursday, Dec. 8th at 7:30pm, as a part of the first half of the G.B.U (Bellingham's longest running improv show!). About the instructor: Seth Thomson is a writer, actor and comic who is inspired to share improv's limitless magic. He has been working and performing at The Upfront since 2016, producing shows, teaching and leading our student practice jam. Seth is passionate about guiding others to unlock their inherent powers of intuition and transformation through play.
