Service Description
Class: Spontaneity, Level 1 Dates: Thursdays, April 18- June 20; no class May 2 or May 30 Time: 5 - 7pm Showcase: Saturday, June 15th at 5pm Instructor: Brian Grote Prerequisites: None! Note: Must be 18 or older to attend this class. This 8 week class will cover basic improv concepts like "Yes, and," thinking quickly, taking risks, failing joyfully, listening, and being in the moment, that will enhance day to day life on and off the stage. Students will have tons fun creating together in a supportive environment, as they become better collaborators and communicators. This class is guaranteed to inspire creativity and spontaneous creation. Learn to see the world through the lens of improvisation! This class will culminate in a student showcase, Saturday June 15th at 5pm. About the teacher: Brian Grote has been performing at the Upfront since 2018. He has been amazed by the transformation improv has created in his own life and wants to share his knowledge and love for improvising with others, so they can unlock the enchantment and whimsy of this craft.
