Service Description
Class: Spontaneity, Level 1 Dates: Sundays, April 14- June 9, no class May 26th Time: 6- 8pm Showcase: Saturday, June 15th at 5pm Instructor: Jesse Markus Prerequisites: None! Note: Must be 18 or older to attend this class. This 8 week class will cover basic improv concepts like "Yes, and," thinking quickly, taking risks, failing joyfully, listening, and being in the moment, that will enhance day to day life on and off the stage. Students will have tons fun creating together in a supportive environment, as they become better collaborators and communicators. This class is guaranteed to inspire creativity and spontaneous creation. Learn to see the world through the lens of improvisation! This class will culminate in a student showcase, Saturday June 15 at 5pm. About the teacher: Jesse has been involved with the world of improv for 13 years. In that time, he has played and taught with various teams around the Western U.S. as well as helped found the nationally lauded Wasatch Improv Festival. Jesse loves character work and is super excited to help others with developing theirs.
