Through scene work, we will explore several different long form formats, focusing on storytelling structures, character building, and environment creation. Students will come away with a clear understanding of formats, scene structure, and edits, diving deeper into what it takes to collaborate and engage in group play. This class will culminate in a showcase on Thursday, March 9th at 7:30pm, as a part of the first half of the G.B.U (Bellingham's longest running improv show!). About the Instructor: Gillian Myers is a trained improviser, actor, and sketch writer with a love for collaboration, discovery, and play.
