Learn to play improv games like the pros! In this 8 week course, you will hone your inner funny bone, get into the comedy zone, and learn how to properly pantomime a phone…. Covering a variety of improv games that rely on quick wit, strong physicality, and larger than life characters, you will gain the tools to think quickly in the moment and instantly connect with your scene partners to create fun and dynamic scenes. This class will take what you already know about improv and stretch it to make you a well rounded and consistent performer. This class will culminate in a showcase performance. Class: Thursdays 5 - 7 PM, 1/23-3/13 Showcase: March 20, 7:30PM Instructor: Jesse Prerequisites: Completion of Level 3. Note: Must be 18 or older to attend this class. About the Instructor: Jesse Markus has been involved with the world of improv for 13 years. In that time, he has played and taught with various teams around the Western U.S. as well as helped found the nationally lauded Wasatch Improv Festival. Jesse loves character work and is super excited to help others with developing theirs!
