Service Description

Class: Characters & Relationships (Sundays) Dates: January 21 - March 10 Time: 6- 8pm Showcase: Thursday, March 14th at 7:30 Instructor: Jesse Markus Prerequisites: completion of level 3, or permission from the Education Director. Note: Must be 18 or older to attend this class. Characters and relationships are the heart and soul of any great improv! This class will teach you to use the "Character Triangle" to develop fun characters and give them an engaging point of view. With these tools, you will be able to build strong relationships that have depth and history with your scene partners. You are guaranteed to walk away from this class with a back pocket full of fun new characters, and the ability to create engaging relationships. After all, there's so much more to a character than a funny voice! This class will culminate in a showcase on Thursday, March 14th at 7:30pm. About the Instructor: Jesse has been involved with the world of improv for 13 years. In that time, he has played and taught with various teams around the Western U.S. as well as helped found the nationally lauded Wasatch Improv Festival. Jesse loves character work and is super excited to help others with developing theirs!
