Class: Mondays, 6 - 8pm, Jan. 9 - Feb. 27 (8 weeks) Showcase: Thursday, Feb. 23rd at 7:30pm Instructor: Sammy Jolly Prerequisites: Completion of Spontaneity Note: Must be 18 or older to attend this class. Through exercises and games, students will come to understand the building blocks of a scene and how to implement them, while continuing to gain a fuller understanding of the improv basics learned in the previous class. This class will explore and expand on concepts like “Yes, and,” storytelling, thinking quickly, scene work basics, miming, active listening, character development, and stage presence. Students will complete this class with an understanding of what makes improvisation successful (and fun!), and will walk away with the tools to make improvised magic happen! This class will culminate in a showcase on Thursday, Feb. 23rd at 7:30pm, as a part of the first half of the G.B.U (Bellingham's longest running improv show!).
