Service Description

Class: Sundays, 6 - 8pm, March 26- May 21, no class April 9th (8 weeks) Showcase: TBD Instructor: Michael Haycock Prerequisites: completion of any level 3 class (Short Form Games, Characters & Relationships, Intro to Long Form, or equivalent); or permission from instructor. Note: Must be 18 or older to attend this class. The Harold is a classic improv format that is widely regarded as the foundation of long-form in the world of improv. This format involves exploring different worlds, characters, and themes, discovering connections and patterns throughout. Students will hone their skills in scene work, game of the scene, reincorporation, and character development. Together, we will establish a shared vocabulary and boost our improv skills as we dive deep into this form, and become a Harold team. This class will culminate in a showcase, date TBD. About the Instructor: Michael Haycock is a transplant from Salt Lake City, Utah. He has been performing in improv comedy shows for over a decade. He has coached teams in Salt Lake City and LA and is the co-founder of the Wasatch Improv Festival. He absolutely loves finding ways to improve local talent and building the improv community.
