Improv 100
Introduction to improv. This course is designed to excite and inspire new students, covering the fundamentals and introducing them to the wonderful world of improvisation. This class is for anyone wanting to explore their creativity in a safe and fun environment. This class will change your life!
We will offer two 100 level classes this session. You must pay in advance to guarantee your spot:
Option 1: Sundays, an 8 week course (2hr classes)

Improv 200
Students become more familiar with the stage and the elements of story. New games and exercises are learned along with a deeper understanding of the fundamentals learned in improv 100. Students begin to tie together the "Who? What? Where?" of scene work into a double knot of improv awareness. *Prerequisite: completion of Improv 100 or referral

Improv 300
Students delve into character development, objectives and exploring relationships between characters. The class focus is on open scene work and performance onstage, giving students the confidence to work with and support fellow improvisers. This class ties in all concepts from 100 & 200 as students hone their scene work, narrative and on stage skills. *Prerequisite: completion of Improv 200 or referral

Improv 400 Performance Series
The student's improv skills are honed for live performance as this class focuses primarily on long form improvisation and advanced scene work. The students will have more stage time than ever and have a class ensemble performance in front of a live audience at the Upfront's GBU show on a Thursday night. This class is geared towards improvisers looking to take the next step toward performance improv. Admission to this class grants eligibility to perform during the student portion of Thursday GBU shows. *Prerequisites: completion of Improv 300 and instructor referral

Intro to Improv - Ages 10-14
This course is designed to excite and inspire students, covering the fundamentals of improv and introducing them to the wonderful world of improvisation! Through games and physical exercises, students will engage their imagination and explore their creativity. They will also practice teamwork and positive communication skills; building their confidence and discovering their own potential in a fun and safe group environment.
An 6 week course (90 minute classes)

BIZPROV BUSINESS SKILLS COURSE
Be Present, Connect & Say Yes! What YES AND can mean for your business

| This high impact business skills course will greatly strengthen your communication skills, teach you to think quicker on your feet and develop better relationship and interpersonal skills. Become more adept at networking, public speaking and one-on-one business interactions. You will come away more empowered and confident in your ability to interact with and influence clients and other professionals. |
We use a very specific curriculum that demonstrates the impact of applying improv to business. Focusing on skills that are essential to succeed and be great in business; active listening, eye contact, being present, saying yes, making others look good, being positive, embracing failure, being confident and adapting in the moment. It is not about being witty or clever or interesting, there is no acting or role-playing involved. The course is about increasing positive communication with others, thinking quickly on your feet, and being present and in the moment. This will be a complete paradigm shift in the way you view business interactions. Each course consists of two intensive two and a half hour workshops from 1 - 3:30pm each day at The Upfront Theatre.
